This is a little scary...

Talk about the public taking things into their own hands!
I found this article interesting, though, for the perspective it gives on how people perceive the duties of public libraries: it seems that this woman thinks that as a citizen and patron of that library, she has the right to directly choose what should and should not be displayed there. I know that libraries are supposed to work to fill the needs of their patronage/community, but does that include upholding their morals or prejudices?
